Please be cautious while recreating near Pine Creek below Fremont Lak and through Pinedale. Flows into the lake have drastically increased and are expected to continue to as more melt comes from Upper Pine Creek and Titcomb Basin in the Wind River Mountains. High Water Warning for Pine Creek: Sublette County Emergency Management has issued a high water warning for Pine Creek below Fremont Lake and through Pinedale. Bring drinking and cooking water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes and allow to cool before using. Use bottled or boiled water for drinking or cooking. The Continental Espresso Bar, located at the top of the Treasure Stoke Lift, will be open at 9:00 a.m. Pathfinder Bar will also be open, serving up adult beverages to skiers and boarders. The Upper Lodge will be open, serving a delicious but limited menu. Online lift tickets can be purchased for the following day up to 8:00pm daily. In-person lift tickets can be purchased the morning of, at the Ticket Office beginning at 8:00am. Pre-purchasing lift tickets is available, but not necessary as walk-up sales will be possible. Wolf Pups for children ages 5 to 8 years old will be available as well. Private lessons in the ski school are available for all ages and abilities. Wolf Creek wants to educate skiers and riders that early season conditions warrant extra cautious skiing and riding terrain can be more difficult than expected if obstacles need to be avoided or snowpack is thin. Nova, Susan’s and Foxy will be open for beginners! This variety of terrain will be open for the weekend but may change depending on weather and snow for the following weekends. A scenic hike from the top of Treasure across Exhibition to Divide Trail will give access to Divide Trail and Kelly Boyce. Other partial trails that will be available include: Bonanza Road, Powder Puff and Charisma. Trails that will be open from top to bottom are Tranquility, Treasure, Navajo Trail, and Summer Days. Guests can enjoy the hard work of Wolf Creek’s key employees who have been moving snow and shoveling to make this early season opening happen. Lift tickets will be at Local Appreciation Rates of $60 for adults, $41 for seniors and $31 for children. The mountain landscape is amazingly beautiful with fall colors coming up from both sides of Wolf Creek Pass. The slopes will be closed during the week and will reopen the following weekend.Ĭonditions are very early season with unmarked obstacles. Lifts will be open from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Wolf Creek will open this weekend Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17 with Treasure Stoke (detachable quad), Nova (beginner double chairlift) and the Lynx (beginner conveyer lift). Wolf Creek Ski Area is excited to announce another early season opening with a 14” winter storm that blew in on the heels of Columbus Day.
