Fixed issue with Holy Cannon rune killing Rift Portals. This will be a monitored changed for any issues that may arise.Fixed issue with Texture Streaming setting not enabling properly, this should hopefully help with some of the textures not loading properly.Disabled attack rate overflow which was causing damage values to go higher than intended as the Owl Perch doesn't have a traditional attack rate and more of a reset time. This should help with the issue players were seeing with having to wait for ogres or sirens at the end of the wave to spawn. New Schedule SystemĪ new schedule system to help evenly spread-out the special enemies throughout the wave, without the many flaws of the current system causing enemies to come out too quickly or delay the wave waiting to spawn. That way if you didn’t get any of those rewards you will still be able to have access to titles. There are also a handful of player titles that are tied to achievements. We will be looking into distributing the special player titles in the near future, and will let players know once those have started going out. Adding this will allow players to display a title below their nameplate for other players to see when playing in multiplayer. Player Titles were a reward offered during our Kickstarter, BackerKit and Xsolla pre-order days. We've seen feedback from players about bringing back some of the weapons from Kings Game and this is something we will continue to investigate, as well as potentially look into some new runes to populate the map rewards a bit more. This pet will offer a lot of similar features to the original but with some slight changes to fit DDA’s design. We’ve brought back the Dice pet as a map's pet reward. This was a very popular DD1 map and has been highly requested to return to DDA. While this update is a on the smaller side, our goal is to continue to break up large chunk updates into more bitesize updates that constantly improve player experience instead of having long periods between updates. This update contains King’s Game, a recreation of the DD1 map, Player Titles and an overhaul to how special enemies spawn in the wave. This update is available on Steam! Consoles are in the process of going through certification and will be released once finished. The problem, though, is that the game, overall, was too easy.DDA Kings Game Update is live on Steam! Consoles Pending Out of all three games, Kingdom Rush: Origins is the best one at steadily increasing the difficulty of each level. Shrine of Elynie: 7.5 (I actually haven't played this level yet, so I am judging it through videos on YouTube.) Mactans' Retreat: 7 (I actually haven't played this level yet, so I am judging it through videos on YouTube.) The only problem that I had difficulty-wise was that I had a little bit of trouble beating levels 7-11, but had no problems whatsoever with levels 12-14. Each level was slightly harder than the next, and they were ll challenging. Kingdom Rush: Frontiers was probably the most balanced game difficulty-wise in the series. Kingdom Rush: Frontiers (I don't remember some of these levels too well.) Those levels seemed well balanced: challenging, but easy to beat if you have a good strategy! However, the extra levels made up for that. To me, it felt like stages 7-9 were MUCH harder than stage 10. Overall, I thought that some of the Kingdom Rush levels were unbalanced. Nightfang Swale: 5 (There are no Spectral Knights or anything like that.) Rotwick: 3 (You're literally just spamming Teslas.) Definitely the hardest stage in the series.) The Wastes: 3 (A good combination of artillery and archers makes this incredibly easy.) Twin Rivers: 8 (Without good upgrades and heroes, this level is hell.) That's why I want you to rate the difficulty on how hard the level was the first time you played it.Īll these levels are being judged on how they are on normal mode. Remember that as you progress in the game, you earn stars and heroes, making the game easier. Write down the levels of each Kingdom Rush Game and write down how hard or easy it is the first time playing it (1 = very easy, 10 = very hard).
